Well the 2007 season has started off with a bang. We got off to a bit of a rocky start, I took the car out for play day
and ended up breaking a drive plate in the rear end. Needless to say I didn't end up getting much of any much needed seat
time in the car, but better to happen in practice than on race day.
April 6th was my first race and I qualified 6th quick out of 12 cars, not too bad for the first time in the car, but
I will be looking to best that in the coming race this Saturday the 14th. I finished 2nd in the heat race and 8th in the main
event. The main started out great, I got to start on the pole. Brandon Mclean and I battled side by side for the first 10
laps of the 35 lap event, I think we had everyone on the edge of their seats. Brandon finally squeezed by me and a few laps
later I ended up being spun out by another driver. Starting from the rear of the field I was able to make my way back up to
8th place, not too shabby.
